Formed by Arian Lane (Drowsy Maggies, Honey Hunter) and Jordan Hicks (Contrast, Bench Press, Skyscraper Stan and the Commission Flats) on Wadawurrung and Dja Dja Wurrung land, Pyrex lays its roots in Lane’s singing and songwriting which takes shape from a love of classic folk, psychedelia, shoegaze and 90’s era music.

‘I Want Love’ was recorded and produced by Pyrex and accomplished producer Richard Pleasance (Paul Kelly, Augie March, Wentworth soundtrack), mastered by Blake Gee (Miners) and will feature on their debut release, expected in 2022. ‘I Want Love’ is a raw, dynamic and psychedelic crescendo displaying Lane’s heart-on-sleeve approach to songwriting, allowing a brief and enticing insight into what’s to come from the band.
